Depending on the model selected, in-home elevators require
space of approximately 4’ wide and 5’ deep. Finding
an appropriate space within the footprint of a house can be
challenging and building the elevator shaft on the outside
of the house may be the only practical solution.

Vertical lifts can be installed inside or
outside when it is not feasible to install a ramp. A typical
platform is 3’ x6’ and most lifts are installed
beside the porch or inside a garage to permit easy access
into one’s home. |
